Madrid Airport
Madrid Barajas Airport has four terminals: T1, T2, T3 and T4. The four terminals are connected by 2 subway stations and by a free shuttle bus system that runs every three minutes, 24 hours a day. The airport is located 13 kilometres (8 miles) to the northeast of the capital.

Transportation options between Airport and the Gurudwara

By Taxi:
There are taxi stops at the four terminals in the arrival area. The approximate cost between Barajas Airport and Gurudwara and the center of Madrid (Tirso de Molinafor example) usually is about 25€ PLUS THE 4.50€ airport tax. It is recommended not to go with strangers that sometimes offer services from inside the airport. The taxi fare is always indicated on the taxi meter in the cab, and it is unadvisable (and illegal) to make a deal on a “closed price” with the taxi driver. The trip between the airport and the city center can vary between 20 and 40 minutes, depending on traffic and the time of day. The taxi is the most comfortable transportation between the airport and the city center, especially when travelling with luggage and not knowing how to arrive at one’s destination.

By Metro:
The metro station is easily accessible from the airport - indeed its part of the airport complex.Taking the metro to Gurudwara is comfortable, fast (about 40 minutes to Tirso de Molina l), inexpensive and efficient. You can buy metro tickets in the station -- this is easy using ticket machines but there is also a ticket office here. Buy a 10-journey ticket for approx 6 euros otherwise I think its 1 Euro for a single journey. 10-journey tickets can be used by several people sharing. The metro runs from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Please follows the below steps to arrive Gurudwara from Airport or Embassy.

Metro:At Airport Take line 8(Pink Line, L8) from the airport .                                                      Metro: Change at Station -Nuevos Ministerios for line 10 (Dark Blue Line, L10) in the                direction of Puerta del Sur).                                                                                                        Metro: Change at Station -Tribunal for line 1 (Light Blue Line, L1).After 3 stops you will be at the Tirso de Molina station.
